 SECONDARY SCHOOL ADMISSION INFORMATION

In the academic year of 2008/2009 we are planning to open one first class with extended syllabus in the following areas:


•    humanities (Polish, history, social studies)
•    science (chemistry and biology )
•    mathematics and geography

Please select one extended syllabus you want to take.

Languages taught:
English, French/German, Latin
Additional languages (after-school classes): Russian, Spanish


Admission rules:
    All students, both Polish and foreign, are eligible for admission. They are selected through a competitive screening process. A candidate applying for admission must score the required number of points, which is an overall of:
    
•    points scored in the lower-secondary school final examination
•    points scored at an admission interview
•    points yielded from the conversion of final form school report marks into points, according to the          system below:

    
    Important dates:


    Applicants submit documents and attend admission interview: from March 2008 till the end of May 2008
    Briefing meetings: 6th March, 13th March, 3rd April, 10th April at 5.30 pm; 26th April, 10th May at 11 am

 

Costs and Fees  


•    ZŁ 500 - registration fee (non-refundable)
•    ZŁ 600 - monthly tuition fee (paid over 11 months, September through July)
•    ZŁ 300 (approx.) - cost of school uniform and full dress, non-refundable (uniforms are made by tailors             co-operating with the school)
•    ZŁ 400 - board and lodging (applicable to students in school dormitory)
